You Are So Beautiful

Hello and happy Tuesday my friends.
Today I'm practicing my watercoloring.
I stamped this floral image from Simon Says Stamp and brought out the Kuretake watercolor set to color.  I cut the image down to 3¾ x5.  I originally thought I would just frame the image in black, but felt like it needed something more.  So I cut a white frame and added black and white horizontal striped washi tape.  I was just el what it needed

Break time is over

The last few months have been extremely difficult.  I started this blog on January 6 by celebrating my wonderful mothers birthday, and yesterday I mourned the 2 month anniversary of her death.  I miss her everyday.

Two for Tuesday

This is the second installment of two for Tuesday where I use the same stamp or die on 2 different cards.
This week I'm using MFT Floral Focus stamp set.

For this first card I colored the flowers in monochromatic shades and cut it out using the coordinating die cut.  I then added a little bit of color for contrast to the card base.

On this next card, I stamped the same image with Inkon3 fadeout ink onto watercolor paper and  used my Kuretake Gansai watercolors.
   Enjoy your week.

Two for Tuesday

Hello my friends
Today is Two for Tuesday

What is Two for Tuesday? For the next few Tuesdays, my posts will highlight 2 cards made with the stamp or die.

I'm starting off this series with the

The background on this first card was made using alcohol pearl ink on vellum yupo paper.  I simply cut the design out , added a simple sentiment, and a few jewels.

Using the negative pieces of the die, I made this second card.  This took quite a bit of time to get all the pieces back in place. Once I did, I used Press and Seal to keep them all in place.  Then I just glued it to the panel colored with Kutetake Pearl watercolors.

Thank you for stopping by.
