Busy Weekend

Good morning and happy Monday.
Hope you all had a great weekend.  Thankfully, I was able to spend almost the entire weekend in my craft room.
I've been cleaning and organizing.  What a difference it makes!  I feel like I have room to breathe.

Now for some of the cards I worked on last week.

This first card I made to enter into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr group.
It's pretty simple.  I just made the background using alcohol pearl ink on Yupo paper .
I cut the Mod Leaf Oval twice from 80# card stock and glued them together to add a little dimension.  I then carefully heat embossed the sentiment using white Brutus Monroe embossing powder.

During my cleaning, I re-discovered a lot of 6x6 paper packs that I have squirreled away.  I was bound and determined use it on at least one card.
I stamped and slightly modified the boot from Honey Bee Stamps Oh my Wiskers.  I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out using my Brother Scan n Cut.  I added foam tape to the colored images to add some dimension.

This last card was actually quick to put together.  I love these multi stamping sets from The Greetery.  They require no coloring, just a couple different ink colors.  The sentiment set Written in Ribbon,  is the same concept.  I stamped it once using It's a Girl light pink ink, then again with the second stamp in a darker ink.

If you have any questions, be sure to leave me a comment otherwise have a great week!

Welcome February

Good morning.  Today I wanted to show off a couple cards that I made this weekend.

Again I'm using one of my favorite stamps to color for The Ton, Transformation.  The possibilities are endless with this one

On this card, I used another set from The Ton, Peony Duo, colored with Arteza Gouache.  On the background I used  Catherine Pooler Perfect Vine stencil, Distress Ink, and splatters of gold paint.  I then die cut leaves from The Greetery and My Favorite Things and highlighted them with gold Nuvo Mousse.

Hope you have a great week.

Cup of Cheer

I'm slowly and I mean slowing, opening my new purchases from the holidays.
Today I'm using a couple sets from my MFT purchase.
i stamped ALM Love You a Latte  with Memento black tuxedo ink and colored her with Copic markers.  Then I taped off a section on my cardstock and blending Catherine Pooler ink in Fiesta Blue and Garden Party.
I finished off by stamping the sentiment from LLD Hug in Mug and adding colored jewels in blue and green.
