You Are So Beautiful

Hello and happy Tuesday my friends.
Today I'm practicing my watercoloring.
I stamped this floral image from Simon Says Stamp and brought out the Kuretake watercolor set to color.  I cut the image down to 3¾ x5.  I originally thought I would just frame the image in black, but felt like it needed something more.  So I cut a white frame and added black and white horizontal striped washi tape.  I was just el what it needed

Busy Weekend

Good morning and happy Monday.
Hope you all had a great weekend.  Thankfully, I was able to spend almost the entire weekend in my craft room.
I've been cleaning and organizing.  What a difference it makes!  I feel like I have room to breathe.

Now for some of the cards I worked on last week.

This first card I made to enter into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr group.
It's pretty simple.  I just made the background using alcohol pearl ink on Yupo paper .
I cut the Mod Leaf Oval twice from 80# card stock and glued them together to add a little dimension.  I then carefully heat embossed the sentiment using white Brutus Monroe embossing powder.

During my cleaning, I re-discovered a lot of 6x6 paper packs that I have squirreled away.  I was bound and determined use it on at least one card.
I stamped and slightly modified the boot from Honey Bee Stamps Oh my Wiskers.  I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out using my Brother Scan n Cut.  I added foam tape to the colored images to add some dimension.

This last card was actually quick to put together.  I love these multi stamping sets from The Greetery.  They require no coloring, just a couple different ink colors.  The sentiment set Written in Ribbon,  is the same concept.  I stamped it once using It's a Girl light pink ink, then again with the second stamp in a darker ink.

If you have any questions, be sure to leave me a comment otherwise have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day my friends.

Today I want to show you this adorable digital image from PolkaDoodles.  It was a free download last week.
I had plenty of Valentine's cards so I decided to add a sentiment that could be used any time of the year.
The gnomes were colored with Copic marker and cut it out used my Brother Scan n Cut.  I ink blending the background using this stencil from Sugar Pea.   Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp in a light pink, then moved the  paper slightly to the left and stamped again with the darker pink.

To finish off the card, I used  clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush of the large hearts

Hope you all have a great weekend.
